We are still providing VLDB+, Control Toolkits and VTRx+ devices in a short delay.

04/12/2022

We currently have a large quantity of VLDB+ in stock. Take advantage, the delay to get a VLDB+ after ordering it is less than one week.

28/11/2022

The new batch of assembled VLDB+ have arrived and we are starting to test them. The VLDB+ Kit shipments will be done before the CERN's end-of-year closure.

15/11/2022

A new batch of VLDB+ are being assembled in order to be able to keep with the deliveries. The testing of these boards will be carried out after their arrival. We expect to start with new deliveries in December.

20/01/2022

Several VLDB+ have been tested with success and we are already starting to ship them. Since we have a high quantity of VLDB+ in stock, the delivery delay of new Orders will be considerably small.

21/12/2021

Unfortunately the assembler detected an issue which has delayed the delivery of new VLDB+. We will receive the Kits before CERN's closure but there will be no time to test them. Therefore, the delivery of new Kits to the users will take place in January.

29/11/2021

Many VLDB+ V2 (lpGBT V1) Kits have been delivered. We are currently waiting for a new batch of Kits so we can continue distributing. We expect to receive them soon so we can test and deliver them before the end of the year.

15/11/2021

We are currently testing VLDB+ V2 with lpGBT V1 mounted. We expect to validate some of them before the end of the week. In the meantime we will proceed with the TID for the users who need their Kit to be shipped.

11/10/2021

The lpGBT team is currently working on the lpGBT V1 tester which will be finished in the coming weeks. Once this is finished, we will be able to assemble fully tested lpGBTs V1 on the VLDB+ V2. Then, we will start with the VLDB+ testing and deliveries. With all of this, we do not expect to start the distribution until mid-November at best.

20/07/2021

We are out of stock of VLDB+ V2 housing lpGBT V0. We expect to have many VLDB+ V2 available housing the lpGBT V1 and ready for delivery around October November. You can already purchase it here.

19/05/2021

A new batch of VLDB+ V2 will be ready for October housing the lpGBT V1. A new SFP Adaptor Board has been designed for the users who want or need to use a SFP+ transceiver on the VLDB+ instead of a VTRx+.

01/04/2021

Yesterday we finally received the batch of VLDB+ V2 and all of them have passed the testing. Next Tuesday 6th we will start delivering them. Thank you for your patience.

26/03/2021

Unfortunatelly the assembly workshop has been delayed with the assembly of the remaining VLDB+ V2 (none received from the moment). We hope to test them and to start the delivery during the next week.

11/03/2021

In the end, the last batch of VLDB+ V2 will be assembled during the week of the 15-19th of March. We currently expect to deliver them before the end of the month.

05/03/2021

We received a new batch of VLDB+ V2 however the assembly will not take place until the next week (8-12th of March). Taking into account assembly and testing, we expect to deliver them, to the last requesters, during the end of the week of the 15th of March.

23/02/2021

As expected, this week we are going to receive a new batch of VLDB+ V2 PCBs. Fortunately, we are going to receive enough PCBs to cover all the current Kit requests which will be held in mid-March whether assembly and testing also goes as expected.

12/02/2021

Some of the VLDB+ V2 Kit deliveries have started. In addition, we received 8 additional VLDB+ V2 this week and are currently being assembled. Hopefully, these additional boards will be tested and delivered before the end of February. Finally, we expect to receive another batch of VLDB+ V2 the 22th of February, whereby last deliveries (last requesters) will be held in mid-March.

25/01/2021

Unfortunatelly the 11 additional VLDB+ V2 are now expected to be received around the 8th of February. The VLDB+ V2 deliveries have already been delayed for 2 months (it was expected for December) because of 2 different process failures. The first one in November was the etchting process that had failed. The second one was scrapped due to underdevelopement caused by a failure with the photomech developer. Moreover, due to a lack of material for the production after these failures the delay increased even more. We will keep you informed. Thank you for your patience.

11/01/2021

The first 9 PCBs arrived (late) from the manufacturer on Friday 8 and are currently being assembled. The 11 additional ones are expected for January 25th. We will contact you as soon as your board has been tested and is available.
